Is it necessary for you to stay up later at night or wake up faster early in the morning? Try taking a cold water shower. However, I wouldn't make it too cold. It could put you into a shock. As long as it's cold enough to wake you up. This is what I used to do when I had to pull an all-nighter in college.
Even splashing some cold water in your face could aid you.
Water is a natural energizer. Not lot coffee that will give you a giant boost of energy, then an even larger crash. And also, unlike caffeine, with water, you're hydrating yourself. This is especially important as the weather gets dryer.
But definitely drink several glasses of the stuff everyday. You'll stay healthy and get a little more energy than you are maybe used to.
