There's only two more weeks left of NaNoWriMo, and by now you may find that you are running out of material to write. Don't worry about it. Just keep writing. However, you don't have to keep writing about the same thing. Why not try to write about something else?
That's right. Write a little bit outside of your NaNoWriMo limit if you find that writer's block has you in the corner. Take your character on another adventure. Or jump into the shoes of one of your minor characters and see if you can see the world through their eyes. This option keeps you within the realm of your story.
You could also write about something else entirely. Try writing a little nonfiction. Or just some stream of conscience writing. That's what this article over at Stepcase Lifehack recommends. It works for me as well. Just writing a bunch to get to what I really want to write.
Or try to find something else. You could be that guy and do your own thing. And that's perfectly okay. Just make sure that you keep writing and stay productive. That's all that matters right now.
